Bob Frank & John Murry

"World Without End" was released in October 2006 through Evangeline Records in North America and in May 2007 on Decor Records in Europe and Australia. This collection of murder ballads co-written by Bob Frank and John Murry was produced and recorded by Tim Mooney of American Music Club, and mastered by Matt Pence of Centromatic. It contains the contributions of an enormous group of musicians on a multitude of instruments. The songs are based on true-but-forgotten tales of murder, death, and suicide.

The European pressing of "World Without End" has a slightly different track listing and is available only in Europe and Australia.

"The Gunplay EP" was recorded and originally released in Europe as a tour-only item but has recently been released in the US. It features Bob and John's interpretations of old and forgotten murder ballads and, in some cases, the addition of long-forgotten lyrics censored by time and decorum. The EP also contains the raucous "Gary Gilmore, 1977", an original murder ballad that only appears here and has never been performed live, as well as two live acoustic radio recordings of songs from "World Without End". All 10 tracks were produced by John and Tim Mooney and recorded with the help of the usual suspects.

"Brinkley, Ark. and Other Assorted Love Songs" (April 2009) is far from a sequel to "World Without End" but mines the same territory (though none of the songs involve murder). Written by Bob Frank, John Murry, and Brady Potts (a long-time running mate of Murry's), the album is as much a meditation on love and loss as "World Without End" stands as a meditation on death and violence. It was produced by John Murry and Tim Mooney and was recorded by Tim Mooney in San Francisco, CA. Like "World Without End" it employs Tim's aesthetic heavily, though this time with the addition of horns, a redneck soul vibe, and a Compulsive Gamblers cover.
